Security guard and suspect injured in shooting on Las Vegas Strip

Police reported Tuesday that a robbery suspect and a security guard were shot and killed in the parking lot of a popular Las Vegas Strip gift shop, and the woman was apprehended.

Officer Larry Hadfield, a department spokesman, said gunfire injured both the woman and the guard, police are investigating the shooting and no other suspects are wanted.

The condition of the two injured was not immediately known.

The woman was taken into custody, according to Hadfield.
