Owner of Image Med Spa in the Southwest Valley was unlicensed, Las Vegas police say | News

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The owner of a Southwest Valley spa is facing multiple charges after police say he was running Image Med Spa without a license.

According to an arrest report for Skyler Pearson, 33, he and his partner opened the spa before the pandemic in December 2019.

Police said that while he and his partner had intimate knowledge of the invasive and non-invasive procedures that take place at the spa, neither had a medical degree and had obtained a proper business license from the county of Clark.

Several customers eventually filed complaints about the company, either about botched procedures or claims Pearson allegedly made.

Police raided the business in 2020 when they spoke to spa employees. Almost all of the employees “seemed preoccupied” with what they were doing, according to the report.

Pearson allegedly repeatedly claimed to be in medical school, that he was a registered nurse, and that he had 16 years of experience in the medical field, which would mean he was a teenager when he started.

When police spoke to Pearson, he said he “didn’t think he needed” a county business license. He later told police, “I don’t care. [expletive] about this company, to be honest.”

Pearson faces numerous charges in the case, including forgery, acting as an unlicensed doctor, operating on others without a license, illegally practicing dentistry and having acted as a nurse without a licence.

He is due in court again on May 4.
