More retail options head to Las Vegas’ booming Southwest Valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – From accommodations to restaurants, shops and offices, the southwest valley of Las Vegas is starting to look different.

Hassan Chaudhry is the founder of Global Commercial advisors and tells 8 News Now more about the company’s next big retail project near Buffalo Drive and Warm Springs Road.

“The city needs to grow, and naturally the southwest has become the next growth area,” Chaudhry said.

The project will include a gas station, drive-thru restaurants and medical offices.

“The southwestern city has been very busy for the past 3-5 years and I think COVID 2020 has given us a little bit of a pushback, but again you’ve seen the retail market picking up,” said he added.

Residents may also notice growth along Sunset Road and Durango Drive across from IKEA as several businesses are set to open in the area, including Lifetime Fitness.
