Las Vegas Monorail Offers Free Weddings


Future spouses will have the chance to get on the rails of marital happiness on March 14 for the price of monorail tickets.

This is when the Las Vegas Monorail, in conjunction with LV Wedding Connection, will have licensed officiants available to perform vow renewals, engagement ceremonies and legally binding weddings from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. for couples who have a valid Nevada marriage license obtained prior to arrival.

At the Monorail Marriage Madness pop-up inside the Sahara Monorail station, couples will find wedding accessories including veils, hats, bow ties, and bouquets for those without the proper attire. Sweets, a champagne toast, a certificate of ceremony and a photographer will also be available.

“We are organizing this event to show that the Monorail offers a unique and flexible event location, capable of hosting special events of all kinds, whether on board trains or at our stations,” said Ingrid Reisman, vice -President and Director of Marketing. , in a press release. “With our Pop Up Wedding Offer, we look forward to surprising and delighting spontaneous and unsuspecting couples with the chance to create an unforgettable memory when they visit Las Vegas.”
