Caesars Music Residences and Updates Dominate August Las Vegas News & Rumors

Bring your face coverings if you plan to visit Las Vegas. Thanks to the soaring Delta variant of COVID-19 cases, everyone is obligatory wear a face mask in indoor locations (including casinos) in Las Vegas. The warrant is for everyone in Clark Country – vaccinated or not.

The mask is not compulsory for eating, drinking or smoking. Guests also don’t have to wear a blanket outside at a pool, nightclub, or at an outdoor show.

There is no end to it, so expect to wear a mask until you hear otherwise.

More Vanderpump could be a clue of more changes in Paris and Ballys

The second Las Vegas outlet by the famous restaurateur and reality TV star Lisa Vanderpamp, Vanderpump in Paris, is In construction with an opening schedule this winter. It will take over the space formerly used by the Diamond / Laurel Lounge in Paris Las Vegas. A second location is absolutely necessary – the original at Caesars Palace is often so crowded that a queue winds its way through the casino.

Renting the space and removing the VIP lounge will generate more money for Caesars while reducing expenses.

Rumor has it this will be the first of the restaurant changes to Paris and by Bally. by Martorano in Paris, Buca Di Beppo and Tequila Taqueria at Bally could also be on their way.

One of the replacement restaurants in Paris could be a new Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart restaurant. New dining options could be attractive to new casino customers.

All these restaurant changes might lead one to believe rumor that the World Series of Poker (WSOP) will move from Rio to Bally’s and Paris.

If the WSOP moves to this location, it might make sense for Bally’s to change its name to Horseshoe Las Vegas. After all, Bally’s Corp. (not Caesars) is shutting down a OK to buy Tropicana Las Vegas.

Confused?

A major renovation at Caesars Palace

There is even more going on with Caesars Las Vegas casino. Let’s start with the renovations at Caesar Palace.

The original main entrance to the casino is getting a multi-million dollar facelift. It is next to the entrance to the hotel lobby that most people use today.

The main casino next to the lobby and the porte cochere are in the process of being renovated to create a grand new entrance. The play areas will be redesigned and there will also be a new lobby bar.

Construction is underway and will be completed by now new year’s eve. Entering the casino will be a little different during construction. The following changes are in place until the end of the work:

  • The main valet off Las Vegas Blvd. will only welcome Caesars Rewards Diamond and Seven Star members
  • The Colosseum Valet (ground floor of the Caesars Palace self-parking lot next to Frank Sinatra Drive) will welcome all valet guests.
  • Carpool pickup and drop-off will be moved to the exit gates next to the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden
  • Express check-in and check-out kiosks at the hotel will be placed at all available entrances

The casino renovation will include two new state-of-the-art gaming pits next to the entrance. This type of renovation is already underway at other Caesars Las Vegas casinos.

Caesars eliminates live dealer table games

And in even more Caesars news, a major change is underway on the floors of Caesars Las Vegas casinos. Caesars is remove table games with live dealers of almost all casinos. The Cromwell, Flamingo, Harrah’s, The Linq and Paris Las Vegas have already reduced the number of live dealer table games. Planet Hollywood closed his poker room probably for the same reason.

Keep your eyes peeled at Caesars casinos for the Roll to Win at Craps Game. This is one of the games that the casino operator has added to these properties. This semi-automatic game is different for the players and saves the company money. You can feel a theme here.

Roll To Win Craps allows players to use real dice but is primarily digital. The game only requires one stick, so there is only one dealer instead of three.

Slot machines and electronic table games now occupy spaces formerly used for live dealer games. Caesars Las Vegas casinos have almost 20% fewer table games until the end of 2020.

New sports betting apps in Las Vegas

Football season is almost here. This is when many casinos start rolling out promotions and app updates. Resorts World Las Vegas has its own exclusive sports betting app. The app was created by IGT, but the lines and ratings are exclusive to Resorts World.

Station Casinos has just rolled out a major upgrade to its sports betting app. New STN Sports is an upgrade of the existing application. The biggest change in the app concerns the betting options. In addition to more sports, there are more player and gaming accessories. STN Sports now has one of the biggest sports betting menus in Las Vegas.

Caesars has rolled out a new sports betting app for much of the country. Unfortunately, Nevada will not have the latest technology, as the state requires registration of an account in person. The stream Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill received a minor update but not as bad as the rest of the country. The same update was also made to the existing one Guillaume Hill application.

Remember: Most Vegas Strip casinos charge a fee to reserve a spot in sports betting during soccer games. The best option is to look outside casinos like South Point and Red Rock if you don’t want to pay to reserve a spot.

More cashless gambling options in Las Vegas

Seek that there is a way to sports betting on credit in Las Vegas at the start of the football season. There is a new agreement between a cashless gaming company for sports betting applications and a company that provides digital markers for slots. The names of companies are not as important as the services they provide. The combination of their powers should allow sports bettors to use a marker to bet on games. Look for an official announcement shortly.

Boyd Gaming’s cashless option at Aliante the casino is expanding to include table games later this year. There is no timeline yet, but it will eventually expand to other Boyd Gaming properties like Orleans and Golden Coast.

Resorts World opened as the only casino in Las Vegas that doesn’t require cash. The casino is now taking another step forward. The Fred Segal Market will be the first business in Las Vegas to use Amazon’s Just Walk Out Technology. Customers will scan their credit cards upon entering the take out store. Each item will be recorded as it is taken, so there is no verification.

MGM Resorts sells Aria and nothing changes

Casino sales aren’t as exciting as they used to be. A new casino operator in Las Vegas usually brings competition in products and prices. This is not quite the case with many sales recently.

There is nothing meaningful to the customer experience when a casino sale is a real estate transaction. MGM Resorts sold Aria last month and rents it to the new owner. The casino operator has done this with most, if not all, of its Las Vegas casinos.

Conclusion: Aria is sold and nothing changes.

Quick overview of the residences

The Street boys have a new short term Christmas Party Residence at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater in November and December. Rocking the same theater is the band TO KISS, who finally confirmed their show series will start on December 27

The rumor Sammy Hagar residence To The Strat quickly sells shows in its intimate venue. Other shows have already been added.

Vital Vegas shares a rumor this Adele will be the next residence announced by Resorts World. This is just one unspoken rumor that follows years of discussion that Adele would have a Las Vegas residency. Sooner or later the rumor could materialize. Law?

Times Square on the Vegas Strip

Vegas Eater reports that the very popular chicken fingers restaurant Raising canes will open on the Vegas Strip at the Showcase Mall next to MGM Grand and in front of MGM Park Next year.

This part of the Vegas Strip has no casino and is full of shops and restaurants. You can now visit Chili’s and Fat burger. Soon you will be able to dine at Olive garden. Buyers can find everything they need at the one-stop shop Target on the Vegas Strip. It can get a little commercial, and dare we say it, cheesy, but however you slice it up, these outlets are going to be big money generators.

Not everything that opens up in this area is a great American brand. There should be a microbrewery on the roof of BrewDog. It would be unique for this part of the Vegas Strip.

A lot of people don’t visit Las Vegas for chain restaurants and stores. However, there is something comforting enough for tourists to visit for these familiar outlets. Look for more of these big names to open at one commercial complex which will open between Crystals Mall and the Cosmopolitan in a few years.

Last but not least…

Discover this new Gogo Griffe casino game available only on The D in downtown Las Vegas.
