50-50 of Slater to Open New Location in Northwestern Las Vegas Valley | MORE entertainment in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) – Bacon lovers of the Northwestern Las Vegas Valley will soon have a new place to satisfy their cravings, as Slater’s 50-50 announced its expansion to the region.

According to the company, the new location will be at 7511 W. Lake Mead Boulevard. The restaurant will occupy the space that was occupied by the long-standing Osaka restaurant.

Slater’s 50-50 said the building was not for sale initially. However, their real estate agent helped Joy Nakanishi Faas buy the Osaka Summerlin location over 20 years ago and offered to make an introduction.

“When Joy met my wife and I, she was thrilled to hand over her building to young operators who reminded her of when she first built Osaka Summerlin,” said Andy Kao, 50-50 owner of Slater, in an email.

According to Kao, Nakanishi Faas wanted to run all summer and then move to Florida to retire at the start of the winter season.

Kao says the restaurant is aiming for a Q1 opening in 2022. Similar to the location of the Silverado Ranch restaurant, there will be 50 craft beers on tap with much of our local Las Vegas brewery.
